Justin Bieber emerged as the big winner at the 40th annual American Music Awards Sunday night in Los Angeles after bagging a hat-trick of awards.The 18-year-old pop powerhouse was recognised as Favourite Pop/Rock Male Artist, Favourite Pop/Rock album for Believe and the biggie; Artist of the Year.  When Bieber won the first award of the night... he accepted with the defiant comment: 'I want to say this is for all the haters who thought that I was just here for one or two years. I feel like I'm going to be here for a very long time.'
