Happy Leap Day!

Everyone knows about leap years, but it's easy to forget why we have them. Every four years, we add an extra day to the month of February to keep our calendar in sync with the earth’s revolutions around the sun.

It takes 365.242199 days for the earth to complete a full rotation around the sun. Our calendar, however, marks out a mere 365 days a year. If we did not add a day every four years, we would lose six hours from our calendar every year, or 24 days in the course of 100 years! We don’t know about you, but we can use all the extra time we can get.

Brazilian beauty Adriana Lima is just one of a host of models to represent lingerie firm Victoria's Secret. But in these sizzling new shots for the American company, Lima shows why she's the best paid of them all. The mother-of-one, 30, showed off her 34-24-35 curves in a collection of black and white underwear.

With a 'come hither' look in her eye, the model shows why she's no. 4 in Forbes magazine's list of the highest-paid supermodels. Lima took home $8million last year, following Gisele Bundchen (No.1, $45million), Heidi Klum (No.2, $20million) and Kate Moss (No.3, $13.5million).
