Beyoncé and Jay-Z are the proud parents of a baby girl. According to various reports, the couple welcomed a daughter, named Ivy Blue Carter, on Saturday night in New York. Friend and music mogul Russell Simmons was among the first to celebrate the arrival, tweeting the new parents: "congrats to my good friends Bey and Jey, "Hey, we're happy to find out this." Rihanna as well was among the first to felicitate. “Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih,” she tweeted. The respective camps of the couple have yet to release an official statement.
