It was nearly impossible to breeze through this month's Adore Home without noticing Claudia Stephenson's home. The entire issue is filled with glamourous color schemes, chic home accessories, and the best of the best furniture. Peruse the magazine yourself for the full experience, but I know you'll be pleased with this overview from Claudia's magnificently styled abode.
Are there any other Gossip Girl fans in the crowd? As a die hard, there's no way I can resist this arrangement. The Prada Marfa artwork is very Upper East Side, and is actually featured on the hit CW show. Beside the fabulous GG memorabilia, behold the mix of color. Claudia certainly didn't shy away from color schemes and pattern play while designing her home, because this snapshot is loaded with a mix of styles. The basic couch is very average, it could be put in any living room. But the plastic tablewith the books and flower pot add a modern touch and a hint of glamour. The pillows are where it gets interesting. The pattern is basic, but very exquisite in bright pink. Also in black, this adds a classic feeling to the couch. Paired with other neutral colored pillows, there's a healthy balance in themes.
I have an obsession with reusing old fashion magazines as decor. The color in this shot is a very tasteful mix. Brights and neutrals steal the show with a subtle black and white magazine cover to set balance, much like the arrangement of the couch pictured above.
This home is very comfortable and extremely chic. It's something that I, and many other style lovers, could see myself living in. The colors, the warm and welcoming bedroom, and the small accessories shape the house. Each additive to the space serves an important role in making the house unique. Claudia Stephenson's eye for style is what sets her apart from many other women with furnished homes. Ah, wouldn't you love to live here? So would I.

Which Was Your Favourite Scarlett Johansson ‘The Avengers’ Promotional Tour Look?
The promo tour for ‘The Avengers’ started for Scarlett Johansson back in April with the LA premiere when she wore a slick Versace strapless dress. Things started to go a bit pear-shaped soon after with a none-too-flattering Nina Ricci dress in Moscow. In London ScarJo brightened things up somewhat wearing Prada with a hot-red lip colour before ending her run in Rome wearing a beautiful Mary Katrantzou digital floral frock. Versace was my favourite. The whole look was slick and I’m still in lust with the Zanottis.

Jessica Simpson’s Precious Lil Maxwell Drew Makes It Rain On The Cover Of People Magazine
Since Jessica Simpson and her fiancĂ© Eric Johnson welcomed their daughter Maxwell Drew on May 1, “life has completely changed,” Simpson, 31, tells PEOPLE exclusively. “From how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything!”
In this week’s issue, Simpson and Johnson give an exclusive interview, plus share the first photos of their little one, who’s inherited her mom’s eyes and her dad’s calm demeanor.
“We stare at her all the time,” says Simpson. “We can’t get enough!”
But becoming new parents hasn’t been without its hardships. Recovering from surgery – Simpson delivered via C-section – isn’t easy, she says, and nursing, which she does throughout the day, has become “a full-on job.”
Still, “It’s the worst if I have to pump and give Eric a bottle to give her,” says Simpson. “I miss holding her and having that closeness.”
Aw how sweet. Congrats to Jessica and her family on the arrival of lil Maxwell Drew. Do you think PEOPLE paid too much or got a great bargain for their snaps?

'The most beautiful woman in the world': Aishwarya Rai won Miss World in 1994
She may have been criticised in her native India for not losing her baby weight fast enough, but Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looked nothing short of dazzling at the AmfAR Cinema Against Aids gala in Cannes last night.
Baby weight or not, the Bollywood actress, 38, lived up to her title of 'the worlds most beautiful woman' in a gold embroidered sari and co-ordinating tailored jacket with Mandarin collar.
Her hair was piled high on her head and adorned with a slender gold band, while her make-up was understated save the dark eyeliner around her eyes.
Kourtney Kardashian juggles playful Mason and huge designer bag while Scott Discisk dawdles along
Kourtney Kardashian may be nine months pregnant, but that didn't elicit any sympathy from partner Scott Disick in Malibu today. Once again the reality TV star was seen carrying around her two-year-old son Mason and her large orange Hermes handbag while her partner strolled alongside, seemingly oblivious to his over-burdened girlfriend. While Kourtney, dressed in a crochet maxi dress and gold sandals, did make it look effortless, Scott's manners leave a lot to be desired.
Janet Jackson Covers Prevention Magazine
Janet Jackson covers Prevention magazine July 2012 issue, showing off her svelte new figure. The 46-year-old chats about her recent weight loss, being a role model to her niece Paris, and how at her heaviest she was close to having diabetes. Janet lost the weight using Nutrisystem for which she is a spokeswoman. Since she as signed with the company first-time orders are up by their highest percentage in 4 years.
Excerpts from the interview:
On her public weight losses and gains: “I think people really connect with the idea of someone who’s gained and lost weight in this very public way, and also someone who’s an emotional eater. Chocolate, cake, caramel apples—there aren’t many things I don’t love.”
How her friends keep her healthy: “Knowing I have these problems with body image, I ask my friends and family to tell me when I’ve lost too much too. Because I will continue to pick on myself, like all women do, and say, You need to [lose] more here, more there.”
The health scares she’s managed to avoid: “Health was always a concern. When I gained weight in 2005, my nutritionist was very worried. I was close to havingdiabetes. Even when I lost it [and] then gained quite a bit back, there was always the thought of heart disease.”
Her workout regimen: “I don’t like to work out, and I get bored easily. Tony Martinez [her trainer] is great. He comes up with something new all the time. There are times when I don’t want to run on the beach, but he knows I love sports, so he’ll bring a football—or I’m just like a dog with a tennis ball. When I’m getting ready for a tour, I’ll work out with the dancers. He’ll put us in teams, and we’ll do all sorts of drills and races.”
On being a role model for her niece Paris: “We’ve spoken about the fact that you’re only a child once. I think there’s a time for everything, and now is not the time [to act in films]. I told her I thought she should enjoy being a kid, possibly go to college—or not—but wait till she turns 18. She’s a very tough, smart girl. But it’s a cutthroat industry. I wouldn’t want my child to do it.”
How she feels about herself today: “I honestly don’t even know what size I am. Now it’s about looking in the mirror and saying, I feel good. I feel healthy.”
The July issue is on newsstands now.

Rainy days, lazy days, wake-up-late kind of days - these days all call for simple, go-to fashion and a blazer should land at the top of your list for that. I mean, it's a jacket. Put it on, cuff up the sleeves, wear a decent top underneath and you're good to go. Talk about easy. But easy sometimes translates to boring, and that's where the color comes in. Colored blazers. It's an essential to keep one [or two...] around this time of year. You never know what kind of fashion situation you might run into when you need a go-to piece. Wear it with shorts, cropped trousers, jeans, anything. Like I said before, it's easy yet chic.

See what I'm saying? Blazers are really easy to work into a look. They're fun to color block, they work for monochromatic looks, you can pair them with your favorite jean shorts and you can never go wrong with a colored blazer and patterned shorts. These jackets fit into just about everything trend that's popular right now. And the best part, anyone can wear them - older women, younger women, someone who's a size 12, someone who's a size 2. With so many ways to be worn, it's no wonder blazers are all the rage. They're easy to find in stores, easy to wear and they look fabulous on every kind of body.
Play it safe and look great.

Cassie was Black Swan-chic as she graced the red carpet for the Killing Me Softly premiere during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival in stunning in a Roberto Cavalli gown. Still rocking the shaved-side-do, the singing model always manages to accomplish the perfect mix of elegance and edge. It worked well with this look.
