Kim Zolciak dropped a milli on her dream wedding to Atlanta Falcons player Kroy Biermann:
“We spared no expense — you only do this once,” Kim admits to Life &style in the new issue, on newsstands now. “This is it for me. It was very expensive, but we were in a position to do it, and I’m thankful for that.” Kim certainly didn’t worry about expenses when it came to her big day, which cost nearly $1 million. The bride wore three dresses totaling close to $100,000! The 33-year-old reality star’s pre-owned handmade Baracci wedding gown cost $58,000 all on its own! Made of duchess satin and embellished with Swarovski crystals, pearls and embroidered lace, the dress made Kim look like the perfect princess . Her second dress was an $18,000 mermaid gown covered in pearls and Swarovski crystals. Later on in the evening, Kim changed yet again into a $16,000 backless jumpsuit covered in Swarovski crystals and pearls. Both pieces were designed by Pnina Tornai of Say Yes to the Dress fame.
Aside from napkins embroidered with the couple’s monogram, luxe details include custom-made Anais Collezioni dresses for Kim’s daughters, Ariana and Brielle, an 11-carat emerald-cut wedding band for Kim and a band featuring 77 black diamonds and 26 white diamonds for Kroy (both rings were designed by Tara Fine Jewelry Co.). And Kim tells Life & Style that their towering 11-layer cake from Highland Bakery cost a whopping $14,000! Luckily, she hired celebrity event designer Colin Cowie (colincowieweddings.com) to make sure it all came together.
But the best part of the day? Kim committing to the love of her life. “I can’t believe I’m married. I’m so excited. When you find the right person, you’re 1,000 percent sure,” she tells Life & Style. “Now we’re a family, and it’s such a blessing.”
